“With charming illustrations, and profound affirmations and questions, Mindful Moments delivers a beautiful concept from beginning to end for the youngest mindfulness practitioners or those wanting to try it out. Sure to delight, inspire, and illuminate children and parents alike!” ~ Diana Winston, Director of Mindfulness Education, UCLA MARC
“Mindful Moments offers young kids and families a chance to explore and cultivate compassion and connection in fun, creative ways with the moment, themselves and those around them.” ~ Dr. Christopher Willard, Mindfulness Author, Harvard Medical School faculty
“Mindful Moments exercises and activities translate the principles of mindfulness and self-regulation skills into a delightful set of practices geared to young children and their families or classrooms. This program offers child-friendly practices that build on children's innate observation skills, imagination and capacity for care and kindness. As adults practice alongside the child, they too benefit from the focus on a variety of practices and skills that contribute to everyone's well-being.” ~ Maureen Shannon-Chapple, Mindfulness Teacher
I absolutely love these cards! The activities are great for all ages and the affirmations are so uplifting. The cards are so sturdy and the illustrations are beautiful. I use them with students from elementary to high school and they resonate with everyone. Thank you Kaajal for creating this wonderful tool to promote mindfulness, compassion and resilience.
Mindful Moments: Guided Exercises and Mantras for Kids
Its truly wonderful! Beautiful illustrations and a fun activity for the whole family to enjoy. They are perfect little bites of mindfulness and help teach kids to use the tools they have. They love the different ways to calm down or energize and each one only takes about 1-3 minutes.
We were so lucky and grateful to be introduced to Kaajal and the amazing program that she has put together for children. We are carrying Mindful Moments in our store and sold copies immediately. It is a gorgeously crafted and illustrated set that perfectly complements the mission of the Cayton Children’s Museum to provide children with an inner play space where they can learn compassion, mindfulness, empathy and love. Our Education department is excited to work with her to develop and present a mindfulness workshop that we all look forward to.
Me and my kids use these in their calm corner for when we all need to get centered and grounded. I like the thickness of the card and each meditative prompt. I really like that it also has self reflections for my older kiddo to journal or think about. It really gets my younger one thinking and it's mostly out loud. This is such a great way to introduce your children and family to mindfulness.
